nn_quick is a piece of software developed by Malcolm Sambridge and Jean Braun of the Research School of Earth Sciences at the Australian National University.
It is a user-friendly and efficient software that serves as a front-end to a series of Fortran and C routines that calculate natural neighbour coordinates for a set of points arbitrarily distributed in the plane.
nn_quick will take a dataset made of a large number of triplets of values x, y and f and interpolate the scalar field f known at the coordinates x,y onto a regular rectangular grid.
