SITE ACCESS

Boats
PMV Boats leave regularly from Kokopo to Rakanda Plantation jetty 1 km away, or Mission station 4km away. Local Government office is located at Kibil (Molot) at northern end of island Boat PMVs go there irregularly PMV fare is K10, however a charter can be arranged for K140 per trip, or an arrangement can be made with the PMV operator to drop off directly at the site In bad weather (frequent between June-Sept) crossings may be impossible especially after 10 am

Government vehicle and driver can be arranged about K100 per day
