Details

The ACT division of the Geological Society of Australia hosts seminars at the Research School of Earth Sciences on the third Tuesday of every month except January and December. Speakers include prominent earth scientists from the local area as well as national/international visitors. Topics span the complete spectrum of the earth sciences (e.g., sedimentology, tectonics, geophysics, geochemistry, palaeontology, environmental geoscience, planetary geoscience and earth science history/education).

Pre-seminar drinks start at 5:00 pm in the foyer of the Jaeger 1 building, and the seminars commence at 5:30 pm in the Jaeger Seminar Room. The seminars are usually followed by dinner at a Civic restaurant.

Members and non-members are welcome.
