Research interests

My research aims to trace fluid circulation and determine extent of fluid flow as well as rates of fluid-rock interaction processes in crustal settings by analyzing oxygen isotopes, trace elements compositions, and U-Pb systematics in relevant minerals. Current projects are (i) development of protocols and standards for in-situ analysis of oxygen isotopes in serpentine minerals by SIMS techniques, (ii) assessment of matrix bias effects in olivine during oxygen isotope analysis by SHRIMP, (iii) experimental calibration of oxygen diffusion rate in garnet.
