  • ISI Honours for Excellence in Australian Research, 2001.
  • Awarded RIEF grant in 1998 (Total $1.2 million) for project entitled 'Laser-ablation ICP-sector for the application to Global Climate Change and Environmental Research.
  • 2001 Awarded x 2 ARC grants for research on coral reefs. Runoff into the Great Barrier Reef $90,000 per annum for three years. Fossil coral reef, as climate proxies $80,000 per annum for three years (joint with Dr P Hearty, JCU).
