PhD subject: Diamonds - Time capsules of ancient mantle volatiles and the key to dynamic Earth evolution

In general, I am interested in petrology, mineralogy, and isotope geochemistry. In particular, I am fascinated by how chemistry changes over time in subduction zones and the mantle. Especially when it is concentrated on trace elements, radiogenic isotopes and reactions and equilibration between different reservoirs. Further, I am interested in fluid-rock interactions, PT-t paths eq. metamorphism, cycles of elements, orogenesis and the amalgamation of cratons.
