I completed my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Lafayette College, USA, in 2014. I then spent two years working at a the Centre for Climate Research and Development in Islamabad, Pakistan, where I researched climate change policies in Asia.
I moved to Canberra in 2016 when I started my PhD with the CFP group.
I use direct numerical simulation to model flow dynamics in the Southern Ocean, without the need for parameterisations for convection, turbulence, or eddy formation. I am currently researching the impact of horizontal convection, wind stress and turbulent eddy mixing on the flow dynamics of the Southern Ocean.
