Quarantine details - sending samples for analysis

RSES maintains an Australian Quarantine & Inspection Service (AQIS) Permit to Import Quarantine Material into Australia. The current RSES Permit to Import Quarantine Material covers the following commodities: human bones and skeletons (clean), animal bones, soil samples and related material for in vitro use – going to a quarantine approved premises, water samples, sea shells and corals.

For information on sending quarantine material to RSES, such as samples of rock, coral, bone etc, and advice on importation issues, please contact the RSES Quarantine Officer, Mr Eric Ward, or the Earth Chemistry Area Administrator, Ms Robyn Petch.
