The TIGGER project is a multi-faceted seismic study of Tasmania and southern Victoria undertaken by the Research School of Earth Sciences at the Australian National University.  The aim of the study is to obtain a better understanding of Tasmania's geological history and tectonic evolution by imaging crustal and upper mantle structure using seismic waves recorded in Tasmania and southern Victoria from distant earthquakes.
