WARRAMUNGA SEISMIC AND INFRASOUND RESEARCH STATION

The Warramunga Seismic and Infrasound Research Station (WRA) was established in 1968 with a twenty element seismic array and has been operated for the last thirty years by the Research School of Earth Sciences at the Australian National University in Canberra.

The array has been designated as a primary station for both seismic and infrasound in the International Monitoring System for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT).
