Anya is a geophysicist who conducts research into the structure and dynamics of the tectonic Earth. As part of the Earth Physics/Seismology group at RSES, she specialises in using earthquake seismology as a means of finding more about the crust and mantle. She targets the relatively unexplored areas of the southern hemisphere which involves major field projects in as well as innovation in seismological techniques.
