CANDY WRAPPER FOR THE EARTH'S INNER CORE

"The name "Candy Wrapper" was used for our model of inner core anisotropy due to the similarity of the shape of travel time curves as a function of ray-probing angle in the inner core and an old-fashioned candy wrapper". Findings are published in Nature's open access journal: "Scientific Reports". Click on the bonbon above for a free access to the paper.
