VRML files allow interactive viewing of the 3-D model. Browser dependent operations can be used to rotate the globe, e.g. set `study mode' for the Cortona viewer and use the mouse to rotate, or zoom on the model. A click with the mouse will set the outer surface to transparency and change the depth of the velocity model slice.
You will need a VRML plugin for your browser.
The Cosmo VRML viewer for the PC platform can be downloaded from here .
The Cortona VRML viewer for PC and Mac can be downloaded from here .
I know of no good (i.e. stable, complete etc) VRML viewer on a unix platform. Let me know if you do !
If the download takes too long, you can download this tar file containing the VRML file and jpeg images.
