The Climate and Fluid Physics Group holds occasional seminars. Often (but not always) these seminars are held on a Tuesday afternoon in the Hales Room. Please contact us to be added to the mailing list.
Organized by the RSES Data Science Research Theme members, these events are one hour sessions starting at 11:30 on Mondays in the Hales Room (J7), each week alternating between a ‘Data Surgery’ and ‘Data Science Research Forum’.
Monthly seminars (usually held on the last Wednesday of every month at 11am, in the Hales seminar room), covering all aspects of geophysics research (in the broadest sense of the word) at RSES and elsewhere.
The ACT division of the Geological Society of Australia hosts seminars at the Research School of Earth Sciences on the third Tuesday of every month except January and December.
The Palaeoenvironments research group holds fornightly seminars. Seminars are held in the Ringwood Room at 12:00pm on Wednesdays.
Weekly seminars covering a wide range of topics on petrology and geochemistry research. Seminars are held at the Green Room (J5) at 12:30pm on Tuesdays and at Ringwood Room (J4) at 12:30pm on Fridays.
Seminars are held in the Jaeger 1 Seminar Room, Research School of Earth Sciences, 142 Mills Rd, Acton ACT 2601.
Mini symposium are held periodically within the School to bring together researchers from diverse areas to focus on these overarching Research Themes.
